Failure by government to ensure all families have sufficient income to meet basic needs has caused holes in the safety net to worsen. Failure to prioritize needs of the poorest is causing increased hardships among those least suited to survive them. We must place a priority on resources for our poorest. We support efforts to provide as much as possible to working poor families, but support should not come at the expense of those with the least.

This film saddens me. I gave for the first time this winter, and would like to challenge anyone who have never given before to do so. Maybe there is a neighbor you can give to if you do not have a food pantry near by.
